WESTFIELD, N.J. – Jackson Roman and Mike Crowley are tied for 17th individually after the first day of the Georgetown Intercollegiate, while the Loyola University Maryland golf team is ninth as a team through 36 holes.
 
Roman and Crowley shot matching rounds of 73-74 on Monday in windy conditions at Echo Lake Country Club.
 
Eli Spaulding shot 75-77 in the two rounds and is tied for 34th, while Connor McGarrity went 76-81 and is tied for 48th. Gustavo Rangel shot 81-78 and is tied for 53rd.
 
The tournament will conclude Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
