CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Loyola University Maryland's men's rowing had its first race of the season on Sunday with the Greyhounds' 4+ taking 18^th out of 42 teams in the Collegiate Fours at the Head of the Charles.
 
Brendan Shaw, Sam Hoerning, Peter Bohacek, Chris Engelbert and coxswain Ali Arvelo raced to a time of 17:28.291 on the course to finish.
 
On Saturday, the women's team starts its season with a 31^st-place finish in the club fours.
 
Loyola will be back in action on Saturday, October 26, when it heads to Philadelphia for the Head of the Schuylkill.
