PHILADELPHIA – The Loyola University Maryland rowing team and a group of its alumni competed on Saturday at the Head of the Schuylkill with the Greyhounds' men's varsity four leading the way with a fourth-place finish.

Joey Sigmund turned in a fourth-place time of 12:59.211 to finish behind Penn, the Potomac Boat Club and Columbia in an event that featured 33 boats.
That Greyhounds contingent had a time that was more than two seconds better than fifth-place Delaware in the event.
Loyola's women's varsity eight also had a top-10 finish.
