Chase Boyle Named IWLCA Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Baltimore -- The IWLCA announced their weekly Player of the Week awards on Tuesday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Chase Boyle was named the Division I Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

This is Boyle's first IWLCA weekly honor. She also was named as the USA Lacrosse Player of the Week earlier this season. She shares the honor this week with Northwestern's Erin Coykendall.

Boyle had 12 points on the week, coming on 11 goals and one assist. She began the week with a career-high 8 goals against No. 17 Princeton to go along with seven draw controls. She followed it up with a three-goal, one assist performance against Boston, to go along with 13 draw controls.

Boyle currently ranks tied for first in goals (61), tied for second in goals per game (4.36), and third in draw controls per game (10.5) in Division I this season.

Loyola will wrap up non-conference play on Wednesday when travel to play No. 14 Penn at 4:00 PM.
