Georgia Latch posted a career-high six assists for the Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team, as the Greyhounds clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the Patriot League Championships with a 21-6 win over the College of Holy Cross.

Chase Boyle had 6 goals in the win, while
Sydni Black had three goals and a assist.
Anna Ruby had two goals and a assist, while
Catie Corolla had a pair of goals. Five other Greyhounds had goals in the win.
The Greyhounds (14-2 overall, 8-0 Patriot League) started the game fast on the offensive end.
Sydni Black opened the scoring with a solo goal just four minutes into the game.
Lily Osborne scored Loyola's second goal, as she caused a turnover on the defensive end, picked up the ground ball, and took it to the other end of the field before firing it to the top corner for her first goal of the season, as the Greyhounds took a 2-0 lead.
Georgia Latch scored her first goal of the game, as she converted on a free position shot, to take a 3-0 lead with 6:08 remaining.
Holy Cross got on the board with 4:55 remaining, to stop Loyola's run to start the game.
After
Catie Corolla scored on a free position with 33 seconds left, the Crusaders (10-5 overall, 5-3 Patriot League) answered right before the end of the quarter, as Isabela Miller scored her lone goal of the game, as Loyola led 4-2 at the end of the first quarter.
Loyola pulled away in the second quarter, as they held Holy Cross scoreless in the quarter.
Offensively, the Greyhounds found their groove in the second quarter.

Chase Boyle, Latch, and
Sydni Black followed it up with solo goals each, as Loyola led 8-2 with 6:29 remaining in the second quarter.
Just 27 seconds later,
Anna Ruby scored her first of the day, assisted by
Georgia Latch.
With the first half closing out,
Georgia Latch capped off a big first half, as she scored her third of the half with 18 seconds left, as the Greyhounds led 10-2 at halftime.
The Crusaders started the second half strong, as they scored the first two goals of the half, as they kept the Greyhounds in check for the first five minutes.
That changed, however, as Latch added another assist, as she found a open
Catie Corolla, who faked the goalie for her second goal of the day.
Latch would add another assist just 1:27 later, as she found
Elisa Faklaris for the goal.
Holy Cross and Loyola would trade two goals each down the stretch of the third quarter, as the Greyhounds added two goals in the last 23 seconds of the quarter.
Chase Boyle scored on a free position shot with 23 seconds left. On the ensuing draw, the Greyhounds won it, as they tried for another goal, as Black drew a foul, and converted the free position.
Loyola once again held Holy Cross scoreless in a quarter, as Holy Cross did not score in the fourth quarter.
Anna Ruby scored early in the fourth, thanks to Latch's sixth assist of the day.
Loyola would go on to score four more fourth quarter goals, to cap off a 8-0 run to close out the game, as they won 21-6.
Loyola owned possession battle, as they won the draw control battle, 18-12, which included 15 draws by
Chase Boyle.
Lauren Spence tallied 7 saves on the day, along with two ground balls and a caused turnover.
Ella Kittredge led Holy Cross with three goals on the day. Isabela Miller, who ranked fourth in the NCAA in points per game, averaging 5.79 per game, was held to just two points on one goal and one assist, tied for her lowest total in a game this season.
With the win, Loyola clinched the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Championships, and will host the semifinal and final. The top four seeds have been decided, with Navy at No. 2, Army at No. 3, and Holy Cross at No. 4. Army and Holy Cross will host the Quarterfinals, with their opponents to be determined.
Loyola closes out the regular season with a matchup against Bucknell next Thursday.
