Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced their weekly women's lacrosse awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's
Lily Osborne was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Osborne, who also won the award last week, earns her second Defensive Player of the Week award this season.
Osborne led the Greyhounds back line this week, as she totaled 1 goal, 3 ground balls, and four caused turnovers. In the win over Holy Cross, Osborne led Loyola, as they held the Crusaders to their lowest goal total of the season (6). She also put together a highlight goal for her first of the season, as she caused the turnover in Loyola defensive end, grabbed the ground ball, and then took it down the field before shooting and scoring, for her first goal of the season.
Loyola will cap off the regular season on Thursday, when they host Bucknell.
