- Loyola is set to square off against 8-seed Penn in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Jen Adams is back for her 16th season at the helm of the Greyhounds, as they have compiled a 56-7 record since the beginning of the 2022 season, including five NCAA Tournament wins.
Scouting Penn
- The Penn Quakers come into the matcup with a 14-4 record on the season, and are coming off of a win over Richmond, 16-5, in the First Round of the NCAA Championship.
- Niki Miles (4 goals) and Erika Chung (5 assists) led the way for the Quakers in the win.
- Miles also had 12 draw controls in the game, while Kelly Van Hoesen had 11 saves in goal.
- Anna Brandt leads the team in goals with 55, while Niki Miles has 52 goals on the season.
- Chung has a team-high 48 assists on the season, as Miles also has 22 assists for 74 points on the season.
- Miles has led the team from the circle this season, as she leads the team with 109 draw controls on the year.
- In their first meeting, Anna Brandt led the way for Penn with four goals. Keeley Block, Niki Miles, and Catherine Berkery each had two goals.
- Kelly Van Hoesen tallied 9 saves in the game, as
Chase Boyle,
Sydni Black, and
Georgia Latch combined for five of the six Greyhound goals.
- Another factor of the game was the draw control battle, as each team finished with 11 draw controls each in the game.
Kielmeyer's Career Day

Regan Kielmeyer posted a career-high in the Greyhounds First Round win over Duke on Friday afternoon.
- The fifth year scored five goals on six shots in their 16-11 win, scoring three of her five goals in the first half.
- The five goals were a career-high for Kielmeyer, as she also recorded her first collegiate hat trick.
- Two of her five goals came in the fourth quarter to secure Loyola's five-goal win.
Dominance From The Circle
- The Greyhounds ended the 2023 season as the No. 1 team in NCAA Division I in draw control percentage, winning 69 percent of their draws.
- Loyola has picked up where they left off in 2023 in the circle, as Loyola ranks 2nd in Division I in draw control percentage (67.7%).

Chase Boyle has stepped up and filled
Jillian Wilson's shoes, as she as accounted for 56 percent of the Greyhounds draws this season, and has more draw controls than their opponents combined.
- Boyle currently is third in Division I in draw controls per game, as she is averaging 10.5.
- Boyle set a new personal-high for draws in a single-game, when she grabbed 17 in the win over Colgate.
- She already surpassed her total from the 2023 season (39), and currently is on pace to surpass
Jillian Wilson's mark of 198 draws last season.
- Boyle and the Greyhounds had a dominant performance from the draw circle against Lafayette, as they held the Leopards to without a draw control, as they won the edge, 21-0.
- The Greyhounds have relied on a next women up in the circle and have had success with it, in large part due to assistant coach
Dana Dobbie, who coaches the draw and is a big reason to their success.
Tewaaraton Award Finalst

Chase Boyle became just the third Greyhound to be named as a Tewaaraton Award Finalst. She joins Grace Gavin ('11) and Suzanne Eyler ('03)
- Boyle, who leads the country in goals and is third in draw controls, has led the Greyhounds to a 18-2 record on the season.
- Boyle has the potential to become the first Greyhound to win the award.

Jen Adams won the inaugural award in 2001, and Assistant Coach
Dana Dobbie was a finalist for the award in 2008.
- The award ceremony will take place on May 30 at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, in Washington, DC.
