All Greyhounds family and friends are invited to a pregame celebration before the first round game vs. Duke. The event begins at 2 p.m. at the New Deck Tavern on Samson Street, a 6-minute walk from Franklin Field. 

Opening Draw

- Loyola is set to square off against Duke in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.  
- This will be the 5th meeting between the two programs, with Duke winning the last matchup, that took place in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2016.
- The Greyhounds are looking to reach their third straight NCAA Quarterfinals, after they made it in the 2022 and 2023 seasons.   
- Sydni Black, Chase Boyle, and Lily Osborne all won major awards from the Patriot League, as they won Attacker, Midfielder, and Defensive Player of the Year respectively. 
- Georgia Latch and Logan Olmstead joined them on the first team. 
- Jen Adams is back for her 16th season at the helm of the Greyhounds, as they have compiled a 55-7 record since the beginning of the 2022 season, including four NCAA Tournament wins.

Scouting Duke
- The Duke Blue Devils come into the matchup with a 10-8 record on the season, and are coming off of a 19-5 loss to Boston College in the ACC Tournament. 
- They are 1-3 in their last four games, with their lone win coming over Louisville, 14-11, while thier losses came against Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Boston College, who are all ranked in the IWLCA Poll.
- On the season, they are 2-8 against ranked teams, with their wins coming against then-No. 8 Virginia and No. 22 Harvard. 
- The Greyhounds and Blue Devils have two similar opponents this season, in Navy and Johns Hopkins, where Duke lost to both teams earlier in the season. 
- On the season, Katie DeSimone leads the team with 58 goals and 79 points. Carly Bernstein leads the team with 27 assists on the year. 
- In the circle, Kerry Nease leads the team with 84 draws on the season. 
- In goal, Kennedy Everson has started in 12 games, tallying 84 saves, a .380 save percentage, and a 13.25 goals against average. Courtney Kaufman has started in the other six games, tallying 48 saves, a .361 save percentage, and a 13.26 goals against average. 
- DeSimone, along with freshman Bella Goodwin earned All-Conference nods, as DeSimone was named First Team All-ACC, while Goodwin was named to the All-Freshman team. 

Patriot League Awards
- Sydni Black (Attack), Chase Boyle (Midfield), and Lily Osborne (Defense) all earned Patriot League Major Awards and First Team All-League Nods.  
- Georgia Latch and Logan Olmstead were both named to Patriot League First Team
- Lauren Spence and Catie Corolla both earned second team All-League honors.  

Dominance From The Circle
- The Greyhounds ended the 2023 season as the No. 1 team in NCAA Division I in draw control percentage, winning 69 percent of their draws. 
- Loyola has picked up where they left off in 2023 in the circle, as Loyola ranks 2nd in Division I in draw control percentage (67.7%).
- Chase Boyle has stepped up and filled Jillian Wilson's shoes, as she as accounted for 56 percent of the Greyhounds draws this season, and has more draw controls than their opponents combined.
- Boyle currently is third in Division I in draw controls per game, as she is averaging 10.5.  
- Boyle set a new personal-high for draws in a single-game, when she grabbed 17 in the win over Colgate. 
- She already surpassed her total from the 2023 season (39), and currently is on pace to surpass Jillian Wilson's mark of 198 draws last season.
- Boyle and the Greyhounds had a dominant performance from the draw circle against Lafayette, as they held the Leopards to without a draw control, as they won the edge, 21-0. 
- The Greyhounds have relied on a next women up in the circle and have had success with it, in large part due to assistant coach Dana Dobbie, who coaches the draw and is a big reason to their success.

Nationally Ranked
- After winning the Patriot League Championship, the Greyhounds remain ranked in the top ten. 
- Loyola was ranked No. 8 in the IWLCA Poll and No. 5 in the USA Lacrosse Poll. 
- The IWLCA Poll features seven opponents on the Greyhounds 2024 schedule: Syracuse (No. 3), Penn (No. 9), Florida (No. 10), Johns Hopkins (No. 11), Penn State (No. 15), Princeton (No. 18), and Navy (No. 20).

Where We Rank
- The Greyhounds posses one of the top offenses in the country, as they rank 8th in Division I in goals per game, as they are averaging 15.8 goals per game. 
- Chase Boyle second first in the country in goals per game, averaging 4.21, while leading the country in goals (80). While Sydni Black is 12th in the country, averaging 3.84. 
- Loyola also ranks second in draw control percentage, winning 67.7 percent of all draws. 
- Loyola also ranks last in yellow cards, as they have been called for just 14 this season.

Record Tracking
- Entering the regular season finale, Chase Boyle draws even closer to setting new single-season Loyola records.
- The junior midfielder broke the single-season goals record of 71, set by Grace Gavin ('11) and Kara Burke ('15). 
- Boyle is also 7 draw controls away from breaking Jillian Wilson's ('23) record on 198, which she set last season. 
- Sydni Black also broke the single season goals record, as she broke it in the Championship game against Navy, as she sits at 73.  

Latch-Black-Boyle, Three Headed Attack
- Georgia Latch, Chase Boyle and Sydni Black are one of the best trios in the country this season. 
- The trio were three of the top four point scorers for the Greyhounds last season, combining for 232 points between the two players. 
- Black and Latch were one of seven duos in the country to each have at least 80 points in 2023. 
- Through 19 games this season, Latch, Boyle, and Black have continued to put together dominant seasons, as they all have surpassed the 50 goal mark on the season. Black leads the team with 101 points, with 73 goals to go along with 28 assists, while Boyle leads the team with 80 goals to go along with 14 assists for 94 points. Latch has 96 points, and leads the team with 39 assists, to go along with 57 goals.
- The trio were the first trio of teammates in Division I that each have 20, 30, 40, and now 50 goals so far this season. 
- They are also the only trio in the country that all rank in the top-20 in points per game. 
- The trio are the lone trio of teammates to each have at least 90 points on the season.
- Black (10th), Latch (14th), and Boyle (17th) all rank in the top-20 in points per game.
