Men’s Hoops Releases 11-Game Non-Conference Schedule

BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland men's basketball will officially open the Josh Loeffler era on November 4 when the Greyhounds play their first regular-season game under their first-year head coach.

Loyola will open the year with a home game that night against Columbia, one of four non-conference home games which the Greyhounds will play in Reitz Arena before Patriot League competition starts.

The Greyhounds will reveal their 2024-25 conference schedule in coming weeks when the complete League schedule is announced. The 11-game non-conference slate is subject to change; follow LoyolaGreyhounds.com for the most up-to-date information.

After hosting Columbia, Loyola will play host to Lancaster Bible on November 9 before it embarks on a three-game road trip.

The first game away from Reitz Arena will take Loyola to the New York City area for a November 12 contest at NJIT. Four days later, the Greyhounds go to Richmond, Virginia, for a November 16 game at VCU.

Loyola then heads to play Boston College for the first time since 2008 when it plays its fellow Jesuit school in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts on November 19.

The Greyhounds return to Reitz Arena on November 26 to start a series with a VMI. Loyola then goes on the road for its next three game, two of which will be in the state of Maryland and a third in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Loyola will renew a series with Coppin State on December 2, playing the first game of the stretch on the Eagles' home floor. The Greyhounds then have a date with Delaware State in Dover on December 7.

The Greyhounds wrap up the three-game road trip with the 178th all-time meeting with Mount St. Mary's. The teams will meet in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on December 14.

Loyola plays its final home non-conference game of the year on December 21 when it hosts Hampton. The Greyhounds return from Christmas Break for one final road non-conference game, traveling to Chicago for a December 28 tilt at DePaul.
