BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland women's basketball will look to build on its highly successful 2023-24 season staring this fall when it plays an 11-game non-conference schedule that was announced today.
Last year, the Greyhounds finished tied for second in the Patriot League, their best finish once joining the conference in 2013-14. They then advanced to the Patriot League Semifinals for just the second time in school history.
Loyola will begin the 2024-25 regular-season on the road November 7 when it heads to Harrisonburg, Virginia, for a game at James Madison.
The Greyhounds then play their home opener to start a two-game homestand. Loyola hosts UMBC on November 10 before St. John's visits Reitz Arena on November 13.
Loyola travels to Western Pennsylvania for a November 17 game at St. Francis, but it then comes back home for a November 23 game against UNC Asheville.
Two road games in the State of New York take Loyola through Thanksgiving Weekend. Loyola will be at St. Bonaventure on November 27 before playing at Binghamton on November 30.
Loyola hosts Redford in a December 4 game before heading on the road for its next two.
Mount St. Mary's will host the Greyhounds on December 7, and Loyola then goes to South Bend, Indiana, for a December 22 game at Notre Dame.
The Greyhounds close their 2024-25 non-conference schedule on December 30 with a home game against Haverford.
