Last Patriot League Game

  • The Terriers opened to a 2-0 lead in the first half, but the Greyhounds put together their best half of soccer on the season in the second half.
  • Loyola scored their first goal of the season thanks to a long pass from Jordy Luchies into the box that found Caden Stafford, as Stafford headed in the ball for his first goal of the season.
  • The Greyhounds added a second goal in the 78th minute, after a cross from Eddie Smith found Olafur Sigurjonsson at the far post, as his acrobatic finish tied up the game.
  • Loyola had a pair of looks over the last couple of minutes, but could not score the go-ahead goal as they tied 2-2.
