The Matchup

The Greyhounds continue Patriot League play at home on Saturday evening, as they will host the Lehigh Mountain Hawks for their second meeting this season.
This will be the 28th meeting between the two programs, with the Mountain Hawks holding a 16-9 edge over the Greyhounds. In their first meeting this season, Lehigh held on for the 74-66 win in Bethlehem.

Koi Sims scored a career-best 18 points in the first meeting between the two teams, to go along with 10 rebounds in the game.
Loyola was picked as the Preseason favorites in the Patriot League after receiving 148 points and 10 first place votes in the poll. This marks just the second time since 2000 that the Greyhounds were picked as Preseason favorites (2004-05, MAAC).

Non-conference play concluded on Monday for the Greyhounds, as they finished non-conference play with their first winning record since the 2005-06 season.
Loyola started the season with a 1-2 record, after two losses to James Madison and St. John's, while beating in-town foe UMBC.
They followed it up with a three-game winning streak, winning each game by double-digits.
After a road loss to Binghamton, the Greyhounds returned to Reitz where they defeated Radford in a overtime thriller, 70-64.
After losses to Mount St. Mary's and No. 3 Notre Dame, the Greyhounds wrapped up non-conference play with a win over Haverford to finish 82-38.

Scouting Lehigh

Lehigh comes into the matchup with a 13-4 (4-1) record on the season, as they are coming off of a 80-54 win over Boston on Wednesday, 80-54.
Three players scored in double-figures in the win, led by Ella Stemmer, who had 14 points in the win.
The Mountain Hawks lone Patriot League loss came to Colgate on January 8.
As a team, Lehigh is averaging 70.7 points per game, which ranks first in the Patriot League).
