Baltimore -- USA Lacrosse Magazine announced their Preseason All-American Teams on Wednesday morning, as Loyola University Maryland's Chase Boyle, Georgia Latch, Lily Osborne, and Lauren Spence all earned Preseason honors. 

Boyle was named to the First Team All-American, while Latch was named Second Team All-American. Osborne earned her first career Preseason All-American nod as she was named to the third team, while Spence was named as an Honorable Mention. 

Boyle is coming off of a career-year in 2024, setting single-season program records in goals (85) and draw controls (208). She was also named as the Greyhounds third Tewaaraton Award finalist, joining Grace Gavin ('11) and Suzanne Eyler ('03). Boyle finished second in Division I in goals and was fourth in draw controls, and was one of ten players in the country to record at least 100 points (101). The 2024 First Team All-American enters the 2025 season with 166 career goals and 271 career draw controls.

Latch is coming off of her most productive season with the Greyhounds, scoring 62 goals and 40 assists. The three-time Patriot League First Team member set career-highs in goals and points (102) on the season. Latch was named as a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention in 2024. Latch enters 2025 with 145 goals, 122 assists, and 267 points in her career, as she ranks in the top ten in points and assists in program history.

Osborne led the Greyhounds backline in 2024, helping lead the Greyhounds defense to a 8.47 goals against average. Osborne led the Greyhounds with 25 caused turnovers and was second on the team with 27 ground balls in 2024. She was named as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, along with being named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team and USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American. 

Spence started all 21 games in-between the pipes for the Greyhounds in 2024, posting a 8.64 goals against average, a .462 save percentage, and 42 ground balls. She recorded a season-best 10 saves at Syracuse last season. She was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team, IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team, and was named USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American in 2024. 

The Greyhounds open the 2025 season against defending champion Boston College on February 7 at 2:00 PM.
