Baltimore -- Loyola University Maryland volleyball swept Lehigh on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day in Reitz Arena to close out the 2025 season.
Loyola 3, Lehigh 0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-21)
- Ava Nepkin led the Greyhounds with 11 kills, while Morgan Crawford had 10 kills on the afternoon.
- Kacy Sekunda had three kills, 20 assists, and nine digs, while Riley Hamilton had nine kills and 11 digs. Gabi Verdicchio added 14 assists and seven digs in the win.
- Loyola led the entire first set, before going on a 10-4 run midway through the set to jump out to a 20-13 lead, but following a Nepkin kill, Lehigh rallied back to get it to 22-21, but kills from Sekunda and Hamilton closed out the first set.
- After Lehigh scored the opening point, the Greyhounds used a 13-2 run to take a commanding second set lead. Much like the first set, Lehigh rallied back to tie the set at 21-21, but Loyola scored four straight points to close out the second set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
- Lehigh opened the third set with a 5-1 lead, but Loyola battled back, as another Hamilton kill tied the set back up at 10-10. After teams traded points, Loyola slowed built out their lead, as they managed to pull away at the end of the set, as senior Riley Hamilton closed out the sweep on senior day with her final kill.
- Loyola held Lehigh to a .108 hitting percentage in the win.
