Boyle finished with six goals, 10 draw controls, four caused turnovers, and three ground balls.
Morgan Quade recorded her first career hat-trick, as she recorded a career-best four points on the day.
Mim Suares-Jury recorded her second career hat-trick and tied a personal-best with four points, while
Ava Kane,
Caroline Gerosa, and
Gabby Stapleton each scored two goals each.
Loyola opened the game fast, as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead four minutes into the game, as
Chase Boyle scored the opening two goals, followed by a goal from
Gabby Stapleton.
The Greyhounds (6-5 overall, 3-0 Patriot League) strong start continued, as
Caroline Gerosa took the ball from midfield and ran down the field before shooting low for the goal. Boyle added her third goal of the quarter, as Colgate scored late in the first, as Loyola led 5-1 at the end of the first quarter.
Boyle opened the second quarter with two goals in the first 2:15 of the quarter, as Stapleton and
Georgia Latch assisted on each of the two goals.
Ava Kane joined in on the scoring, as she scored a pair of goals over a 1:20 minute stretch, as her goals sandwiched
Morgan Quades first goal of the game, as Loyola jumped out to a 10-1 lead with 11:24 left in the second quarter.
The Raiders (4-6 overall, 0-3 Patriot League) scored their second goal of the game, as they converted on a player-up opportunity but Boyle answered once again with her sixth goal of the half, once again assisted by Latch, as Loyola led 11-3 at the half.
Mim Suares-Jury opened the scoring in the second half, as she used her speed to take the ball from midfield all the way to the goal, as Loyola led 12-3. Colgate answered with a pair of goals of their own, as they held Loyola scoreless over the next 9:30 minutes of game time, but Stapleton ended the drought, as she caught a pass from
Emma Talago infront of net, and scored her second of the game.
Quade followed it up with her second of the game, while
Lauren Perfetto scored her first career goal, as she raced through the Colgate defense for the goal.
Quade continued her career day, as she scored her third goal of the day off of a free-position in the fourth quarter, as Loyola held a 16-7 lead.
Suares-Jury scored a pair of goals under two-minutes apart from each other to record her second career hat-trick in the fourth quarter.
Mechi O'Neil and
Caroline Gerosa each scored their second goals of the day late in the fourth, as Loyola went on to win 20-9.
Lauren Spence recorded six saves in goal, while she also added two ground balls and a caused turnover in 40 minutes of action.
The Greyhounds once again controlled the draw circle, as the top-ranked draw control unit held the edge 24-8 on draws in the game. Boyle had 10 draws, while
Lily Osborne and
Georgia Latch had eight and six draws respectively.
Loyola will be back in action on Wednesday for a crucial matchup at No. 22 Navy, that will be broadcasted on CBS Sports Network.
