Opening Draw
  • Loyola closes out the regular season on Thursday evening, as they travel to face Bucknell.  
  • This will be the 18th game in matchup history, as Loyola has won each matchup in series history, as Bucknell has been held to single-digits in each matchup.  
  • Since joining the Patriot League, Navy is the only Patriot League program to defeat the Greyhounds, as they did so in the 2017 and 2018 Patriot League Championship game and in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.     
  • Georgia Latch is coming off of a big game against Holy Cross, broke her career-high, as she scored seven goals to go along with three assists in the win. Her ten point perfromance was her third 10-point game of the season
  • Chase Boyle broke the Patriot League and Loyola single-game draw control record with 22 draws against Boston. 
  • Jen Adams is back for her 17th season at the helm of the Greyhounds, as they have compiled a 66-13 record since the beginning of the 2022 season, which includes five NCAA Tournament wins.

Patriot League Preseason Honors
  • The Greyhounds were picked to repeat as Patriot League Champions, as Loyola has won a NCAA Division I record 92 straight regular season conference games.
  • Loyola also swept the Preseason Major Awards, as Georgia Latch, Chase Boyle, Lily Osborne, and Lauren Spence all won their respective positioinal award.
  • Latch, Boyle, Elisa Faklaris, Osborne, and Spence have combined to win ten player of the week awards this year, while Mim Suares-Jury has also won Rookie of the Week once. 

Greyhounds at Home
  • The Greyhounds have thrived at home, as they have posted a 63-4 record at home since the beginning of the 2019 season.
  • They have gone undefeated at home in 2019, 2022, and 2024. 
  • In Jen Adams tenure, the Greyhounds have gone 106-28 at home.

More on Spence
  • Lauren Spence enters her third season as the starting goalkeeper for the Greyhounds. 
  • In her career, she has posted a 8.49 goals against average, a .482 save percentage, and 434 career saves. 
  • She has also posted a 48-10 record over the past three seasons.
  • Spence has recorded double-digit saves in six games this season, which included a streak of six of seven games with double-digit saves.
  • She had a career-best 14 saves, while tying a career-best six ground balls, and three caused turnovers in the 16-6 win over Army on March 15.
  • Spence ranks ninth in career saves in program history (434).  

Scouting Bucknell
  • Bucknell comes into the matchup with a 6-9 (2-6) matchup on the season as they are coming off of a 16-6 loss at Army last Saturday. 
  • The Bison's two wins in Patriot League play have come against Lehigh and American. 
  • Megan Krestinski leads the team with 31 goals and 40 points on the season, as Allie Boyce is second on the team with 27 goals. 
  • Taylor McClain is the lone player with double-digit assists, as she has 25 assists on the season. 
  • In the circle, Krestinski leads the team with 35 draws, while Juliana Pagano is second on the team with 24 draws. 
  • In goal, Colleen Kazanjan has started in all 15 games this season, tallying 105 saves, a .389 save percentage, and a 11.7 goals against average. 
  • Coming into the matchup, the Bison sit in eighth place, needing a win for a chance to reach the Patriot League Championships.  
  • The Bison were picked to finish in seventh place in the Preseason Poll, as Allie Boyce was selected to the Preseason All-Legue team. 

Record Tracking
  • Chase Boyle comes off of a 2024 season where she broke the single-season program record for goals (85) and draw controls (208)
  • Boyle also broke the Patriot League draw control record, that was set by Jillian Wilson's (198), in 2023. 
  • Boyle is 5 goals shy of becoming the new program career-leader in goals, as well as 11 draw controls from the program record. 
  • Georgia Latch now sits at second in program history in assists, with 175, trailing only Livy Rosenzweig, who finished with 230. She also now sits in second in career points, trailing only Rosenzweig in career points. She currently sits in third with 362 career points. 
  • In the Greyhounds win over Georgetown, Latch set a new program record with nine assists in the win. 

Dominance From The Circle
  • The Greyhounds rank first in draws per game (20.7) and first in draw control percentage (71.4%) in Division I.
  • Loyola is coming off a big game on the cirlce, as Loyola won 33 draws against Boston, including 22 from Boyle, which broke the Patriot League and Loyola single-game record..
  • Chase Boyle ranks 7th in the country in draw controls per game, as she has led the Greyhounds on the draw this season.
  • Boyle has more draws than the Greyhounds opponents this season, as she has 168 draws this season, compared to 134 draws by opposing teams.  
  • Loyola's 71.4% on draw controls would be the best percentage in Division I since the 2018-19 season, while their 20.7 draws per game would be the most in a full season since draws became a stat in 1999 (excluding the 2020 shortened season).
  • Boyle follows in the footsteps of Taryn and Taylor VanThof, Livy Rosenzweig, and Jillian Wilson, who have set a history of excellance at the draw since 2011.   
  • The Greyhounds have relied on a next women up in the circle and have had success with it, in large part due to assistant coach Dana Dobbie, who coaches the draw and is a big reason to their success.

Season So Far
  • Chase Boyle and Georgia Latch picked up where they left off in 2024, as they are both averaging at least four points per game, led by Latch who is averaging 5.9 points per game, which ranks 7th in the country.
  • Through 15 games, Elisa Faklaris has posted a career-best 40 goals, while transfer Ava Kane has also posted a career-best 22 goals so far. 
  • Emma Talago and Gabby Stapleton have also stepped into the starting lineup and have posted career-bests so far, as they have 35 and 33 points on the season, respectively. 
  • Mim Suares-Jury has played a key role on both sides of the field in her first season, ranking fourth in goals, third in ground balls, and third in caused turnovers on the team. She also scored the game-winner in overtime against Navy.
  • Cydney Lisk has returned from injury to play a key role on the back-line along Lily Osborne and Ellie Rinehart through 16 games.

Pro Hounds
  • Sydni Black ('24), Jillian Wilson ('23), and Kady Glynn ('19) were all named to the inaugural Women's Lacrosse League (WLL) rosters.
  • Molly Wolff ('16) was named as an assistant coach for the New York Charging. 
  • Black and Wilson we be teammates once again for the Maryland Charm, while Glynn will be on the Boston Guard.

By The Numbers
  • Over the last five seasons, the Greyhounds are 55-0 when scoring at least 15 goals. 
  • They are also 19-14 over the past five seasons when they have allowed double-digit goals.
  • The Greyhounds have won the draw control battle in each game this season, as they have only lost the draw control battle in 13 games over the past five seasons, while in five of those games Loyola tied in draws. 
  • Since the 2021 season, the Greyhounds have gone 23-1 in the month of April, with the lone loss coming to Penn last season.

Greyhounds on the World Stage
  • Loyola had five representatives at the Asia-Pacific Women's Lacrosse Championship World Qualifiers at Sunshine Coast, Australia on January 6.  
  • Georgia Latch and Mim Suares-Jury represented Austrailia, while Lauren Lam represented China. Alumni Alanna Wray (Chinese Taipei) and Daryl Coss (Phillipeans) were also represented.  
  • Lauren Spence and Holly Lloyd ('21) were both invited to Lacrosse Canada 6's traning camp. 
  • Chase Boyle (United States), Lauren Perfetto (Italy), and Mechi O'Neil (Argentina) were all invited to their respective countries training camps. 
  • Head Coach Jen Adams served as an Assistant Coach for Austrailia, alongside Stacey Morlang ('02).
  • Kennedy Buntrock has also had time with Englands' U20 team. 

Tewaaraton Award Top-25
  • Chase Boyle has been named to the Tewaaraton Award Top-25 finalist for the secon straight season. 
  • After being named as a Finalist in 2024, Boyle has followed it up with another big season, as she is one of seven midfielders named as a Top-25 finalist. 
  • Boyle is the only player to be ranked in the Top-10 nationally in goals (59) and draws (168). 

Nationally Ranked
  • Loyola enters the week ranked No. 15 in the IWLCA poll, No. 14 in the ILWomen Media Poll and No. 16 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll.  
  • The Greyhounds boast one of the toughest schedules in the country, as they have eight opponents ranked IWLCA Poll, including three in the top-ten (Boston College #2, Florida #4, Princeton #5, Johns Hopkins #9, Penn #14, Syracuse #17, Army #19, Navy #21).
