Minicus, Reynolds Earn All-Patriot League Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A pair of Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse players were named to the All-Patriot League Second Team on Monday.
 
Matthew Minicus and Remi Reynolds each earned their second-straight recognition on the second team in the end-of-the-year awards announced by the conference office and voted on by League coaches.
 
The two were the Greyhounds' leaders on their respective sides of the ball with Minicus leading the team in goals, assists and points and Reynolds topping Loyola in caused turnovers and non-faceoff ground balls.
 
Minicus finished the season with 25 goals, 27 assists and 52 points. The junior from Darien, Connecticut, had 12 games with two or more points and nine with four-plus. Minicus put up his best numbers of the season in the year's last five games, scoring 17 goals and assisting on nine more since the start of April. Through three years at Loyola, Minicus has played in 44 games and has 86 career goals and 58 assists for 144 points.
 
Reynolds totaled 26 caused turnovers and 46 ground balls during the year for Loyola. In his second year as a starter on close defense for the Greyhounds since joining the program as a transfer prior to the 2024 season, he is currently ranked 11th in NCAA Division I in caused turnovers per game, and he is in the top 10 of close defensemen in ground balls per game. Reynolds played, and started, 29 games and had 43 caused turnovers and 78 ground balls.
