AUBURN, Ala. – Mike Crowley birdied his 54^th and final hole at the NCAA Auburn Regional on Wednesday, capping his collegiate career with a top-20 finish in his final event.
 
Crowley, a graduate student and five-year member of the Greyhounds, tied for 20^th at 3-over 216 on the 7,607-yard, par-72 Auburn University Club course.
 
His birdie also moved him up from a tie for 25^th to his tie for 20^th to mark the second-best finish by a Loyola University Maryland player at an NCAA Regional event in the Greyhounds 13 trips to a regional.
 
Overall, the Greyhounds finished 12^th at the regional to wrap up their 2024-25 season.
 
Eli Spaulding led Loyola on the third and final day of the tournament, shooting 2-over 74 to move up to a tie for 35^th in the individual standings. Crowley finished his final collegiate round with a score of 4-over 76, and Jackson Roman shot 6-over 78 to tie for 59^th.
 
Gustavo Rangel was a shot back on Wednesday and overall at 7-over and 14-over for the tournament to tie for 61^st, and Connor McGarrity shot 86 in the final round.
 
Loyola won its seventh Patriot League Championships since entering the conference for the 2013-14 season this year and its 24th conference title dating back to 1990. The Greyhounds made their second-straight appearance in an NCAA Regional and third in four seasons.
 
The Greyhounds finished in the top five of eight of their 12 tournaments thus far in 2024-25 with the Patriot League title and four second-place finishes. The Greyhounds were seventh in another tournament and compiled a 91-70-5 record against teams they played this season in stroke play tournaments.
