BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland golf will start its quest for its 14
th NCAA Regionals appearance in early September when the Greyhounds play the first of 10 tournaments.
Last season, the Greyhounds won their seventh Patriot League Championship since joining the conference in 2013-14 and their 24
th conference crown since 1990.
They played in the NCAA Auburn Regional, their 13
th all-time appearance in NCAA postseason play.
Loyola will open the 2025-26 season at the Duke University Golf Club where he will compete in the Blue Devils' Rod Myers Invitational September 5-7.
The Greyhounds will then play in a tournament at the Naval Academy Golf Club, returning to their home state for The Goat September 20-21. Last year, Loyola took second in the event, and
Gustavo Rangel, who is now a senior, was the tournament's medalist.
Loyola will host the sixth-annual Hamptons Intercollegiate at Maidstone Club in East Hampton, New York. The Greyhounds will be joined by an elite field that includes 2024 champion Mississippi, Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, Wake Forest and Yale in the tournament that will take place October 6-7.
The Greyhounds then head to Echo Lake Golf Club in Westfield, New Jersey, to play in the Georgetown Intercollegiate October 13-14.
Loyola's final fall tournament will take it to Mexico for the first of two times during the year. The Greyhounds will play in the Monterrey Collegiate Classic for the third time in as many years at Club Campestre Monterrey October 24-25.
The spring portion of the schedule starts February 15-17 when the Greyhounds host the 14
th-annual Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona. The Greyhounds will be joined by 2025 champion Richmond, Air Force, Bucknell, Denver, Idaho, Loyola Chicago, Marshall, Missouri State, North Carolina State, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Omaha, Penn, Seton Hall, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Tennessee-Martin and Utah Valley.
Loyola returns to Mexico March 1-3 for one of the top tournaments in college golf, the Cabo Collegiate hosted by Arkansas. The Greyhounds will join Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, UCSB, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Rice, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt at the Twin Dolphin Club.
The Greyhounds return stateside for the March 15-17 Seminole Intercollegiate, hosted by Florida State at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
Loyola's last two tournaments of the regular-season will be closer to home in New Jersey and Virginia. First, the Greyhounds will play in Villanova's Wildcat Spring Invitational at Galloway National Golf Club April 6-7, and they then return to Virginia's Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at Birdwood Golf Course from April 13-14.
The Patriot League Championships will take place in the Hudson Valley at West Point Golf Course from April 24-26, followed in mid-May by the NCAA Regionals.
