NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – IU Indy hit .330 in Saturday's match against Loyola University Maryland, and the Jaguars took a 25-19, 26-24, 25-16 decision over the Greyhounds in the teams' final match at the Buc Dome Invitational.
An
Ellie Joffe block drew the Greyhounds even, 24-24, in the second set, but IU Indy scored the final two points of the frame to go up 2-0 in the match before winning the third to close the contest.
Joffe had a team-high seven kills to lead Loyola (1-2 overall), while
Riley Hamilton had six and
Morgan Crawford added five. Joffe also had two blocks for Loyola.
Addie Huber tallied a team-best 12 digs and was named to the All-Tournament Team after posting 30 in the three matches.
Loyola will head to the Pittsburgh area next weekend for the Chick-fil-A Robinson Classic hosted by Duquesne and Robert Morris.
