The Matchup
  • The Greyhounds will hit the road on Saturday, as they will travel up to Lewisburg to face Bucknell. 
  • This will be the 40th meeting between the two programs, with Bucknell holding the edge with a 30-9 record in the series, winning the last 12 games prior to their first matchup this season.

Last Matchup
  • Loyola won the first matchup this season between the two programs, winning 49-46 at home, breaking a 12-game losing streak to the Bison.

Scouting Bucknell
  • Bucknell enters the matchup with a 5-13 (1-6) record on the season, as they are coming off of a 64-44 loss to Army on Wednesday. 
  • The Bison are averaging 53.3 points per game on 38.9 percent shooting, while allowing 58.9 points on 40.0 percent shooting this season. 
  • Tuana Coskun leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game, while Elana Weisman is second on the team, averaging 10.4 points per game. Weisman, however, has not played since December 7 against Dartmouth.  
  • In their first matchup, Desirae Ashton scored 10 points off the bench for the Bison. 

Building Momentum
  • After a tough start to the season, the Greyhounds have won eight of their last 12 games. 
  • Loyola has begun to find more consistency on the offensive end, as they have shot 40 percent or better from the field in 10 of their last 14 games. 
  • In their win over Towson, the Greyhounds tallied a season-best 17 offensive rebounds, 50 total rebounds, a .857 free throw percentage (18-21), and their first overtime win of the season.
  • Lex Therien has scored at least 20 points in eight of her last 13 games games for the Greyhounds.

  • In seven career games against the Bison, Lex Therien is averaging 14.7 points and 11.3 rebounds, including five double-doubles in those seven games. In the matchup earlier this season, Therien had 22 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Therien is averaging a career-best 17.1 points per game this season, while shooting 53.4 percent from the field and a career-best 74.3 percent from the foul line.
