BALTIMORE – Seton Hall University earned a 5-2 victory over host Loyola University Maryland on Saturday, winning the opening doubles point and taking four of six singles matches.
Liza Tankimovich and
Victoria Epps scored a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles over Isabelle May and Rachel Benoualid, but the Pirates won the other two matches.
Niamh Campbell and Anastasia Sereda beat

Emma Roeck, 6-3, at No. 1; Jaden Davidson and Kira Farrakhova beat
Elena Hartley and
Emi Shivkumar by the same score at No. 2
Roeck and Epps picked up points for the Greyhounds in singles with wins at No. 4 and 5.
Roeck beat Sereda in a super-tiebrekaer third-set, 6-3, 5-7, (10-4). Epps was a straight-sets winner, 7-5, 6-3, over Ellie Coe at No. 5.
Farrakhova won a second-set tiebreaker to beat Richiez at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 7-6 (3), while Jaden Davidson beat Mia Matriccinio, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 2, and Campbell was a 7-6 (4), 6-3 winner against Hartley at No. 3. Rachel Benoualid got past Shivkumar, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 6.
