The Matchup
  • The Greyhounds return to Ridley on Saturday, as they will host the Boston Terriers in a Patriot League matchup. 
  • This will be the 16th matchup in the series, with Boston holding a 6-5-4 edge in the series, including going 3-1-1 over the last five games. 
  • Boston won last years' matchup, 4-1, in Boston, as Andrea Di Blasio scored a pair of goals in the win for Boston.

  • Tyler Flynn recorded a goal and a assist last season, as he started in 12 of 15 games last season. 
  • Luca Chen saw big minutes in the midfield during his freshman season, playing in 15 games last season.
  • Chris Ogor, Brandon Meminger, Ben Schouten and Tyler Tucker highlight the experienced senior class for the Greyhounds, as the four have combined to play in 171 games during their Loyola careers. 

Scouting Boston
  • Boston enters the matchup with a 4-2-3 (3-0) record on the season, as they are coming off of a 5-0 win over Bucknell on Monday. Four different players scored a goal in the win over the Bison, as the Terriers outshot them 20-9. 
  • Boston has yet to allow a goal over three games in Patriot League play, which includes wins over Army (4-0) and Navy (2-0). 
  • Andrea di Blasio leads the team with five goals on the season, while Lapo Romieri, Dylan Williams, and Pharis Petrica are each tied with the team lead of three assists. 
  • In goal, Ben Alexander has played every minute, tallying 32 saves, a .865 save percentage, and a .56 GAA. 
  • Through nine games this season, Boston has outscored opponents 15-5, while outshooting opponents 120-109. 
  • Boston currently sits tied for first in the Patriot League, tied with Lehigh.

  • The Greyhounds are 52-21-18 in the Patriot League since the beginning of the 2016 season. 
  • In 2022, the Greyhounds set a program-high with 8 ties on the season.

  • This will also be the first matchup against Mount St. Mary's since the 2019 season, as they own a 25-4-1 record in the series, winning each of the last 20 matchups. 
  • During the 2025 season, the Greyhounds went 1-5-1 in non-conference play.
