Mount St. Mary's Unviesrity edged the Loyola University Maryland women's tennis team, 4‑3, while the Mountaineers defeated the Greyhounds men's team, 6‑1, in non-conference action.

On the women's side, Loyola earned the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Christine Richiez and Emma Roeck claimed a 7‑5 victory at No. 1 doubles over Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang, while Elena Hartley and Emi Shivkumar won 6‑2 at No. 2 doubles against Anna Barlini and Emma Perkins. The No. 3 doubles match between Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri of Mount St. Mary's and Victoria Epps and Mia Matriccino of Loyola was unfinished with the Mountaineers leading 5‑4.

In singles play, Richiez earned a three‑set win at No. 1 singles, defeating Perkins 7‑5, 1‑6, 10‑7. Matriccino added a point for Loyola at No. 2 singles with a 0‑6, 6‑4, 10‑6 victory over Tsakiri. Mount St. Mary's secured the remaining four singles points, as Tang defeated Hartley 6‑2, 6‑3 at No. 3, Trolese topped Roeck 6‑2, 6‑2 at No. 4, Pescatore beat Epps 6‑1, 6‑1 at No. 5, and Barlini defeated Lily Langhus 6‑3, 6‑2 at No. 6.

In the men's match, Mount St. Mary's took the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Stefanos Pournaropoulous and Nikos Makris earned a 6‑1 win at No. 1 doubles over Nick Lawliss and Cyrus Shivkumar, while Akarsh Gaonkar and Alessio Guarino won 6‑3 at No. 3 doubles against Harry Zeiders and Blake Edwards.
