Mount St. Mary's Unviesrity edged the Loyola University Maryland women's tennis team, 4‑3, while the Mountaineers defeated the Greyhounds men's team, 6‑1, in non-conference action.
On the women's side, Loyola earned the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Christine Richiez and Emma Roeck claimed a 7‑5 victory at No. 1 doubles over Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang, while Elena Hartley and Emi Shivkumar won 6‑2 at No. 2 doubles against Anna Barlini and Emma Perkins. The No. 3 doubles match between Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri of Mount St. Mary's and Victoria Epps and Mia Matriccino of Loyola was unfinished with the Mountaineers leading 5‑4.
