TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Loyola University Maryland's
Eli Spaulding tied for seventh individually, shooting even-par 216 over three rounds to lead the Greyhounds at the Seminole Intercollegiate.
As a team, the Greyhounds finished ninth out of 21 teams at the event hosted, and won, by Florida State.
Spaulding was 1-over through 11 holes in Tuesday's final round before carding four birdies over a five-hole stretch to get into red numbers for the day.
A bogey on his final hole set him back to even par for the round, completing a tournament in which he shot 73-71-72 on the 7,505-yard, par-72 Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Diego Neira wrapped up three-straight rounds of 3-over 75 to tie for 37th, while
Jack Geyer and
Gustavo Rangel also shot 75 on Tuesday. That pair tied for 67th overall, while
Lorenzo Sanz finished tied for 84th.
