Baltimore -- The Tewaaraton Foundation announced the first additions to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List on Thursday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Mae Murphy was named to the Watch List. 

Murphy is one of two freshman (Maura Irish, Notre Dame) to be added to the Watch List, and is the only draw specialist that was added. 

Murphy has had a great start to her career as a Greyhound, as she has recorded 88 draws through seven games this season, including a streak of six games in double-digit draws to start her career. 

She recorded a season and career-best 17 draws earlier this season at Lehigh, as she then followed it up with 16 against Florida. Murhpy has led the Greyhounds to second in Division I in draw control percentage (71%) and fourth in Division I in draw controls per game (17.86). She has also been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week twice this season. 

Loyola will continued Patriot League play on March 14, as they travel to face Army West Point.
