CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Four Loyola University Maryland golfers shot 73 or better on Tuesday, and the Greyhounds moved up a spot in the team rankings during their final round of the 2026 regular-season.
Loyola finished 11th at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, hosted by the University of Virginia at Birdwood Golf Club.
Eli Spaulding had his best round of the tournament, shooting even-par 71 with birdies on two of his last three holes in the final round. He finished tied for 60th at the tournament.
Diego Neira led the Greyhounds overall during the week, shooting 1-over through three rounds to tie for 33rd. He shot 1-over 72 on Tuesday.
Jack Geyer was three shots back of Neira overall, shooting 2-over 73 Tuesday to finish tied for 45th at 4-over.
Jackson Roman had his best round of the tournament Tuesday, shooting 1-over 72, and finished tied for 63rd, while
Lorenzo Sanz tied for 68th overall.
The Greyhounds will compete next in the Patriot League Championships, a three-day tournament starting Friday, April 24, in West Point, N.Y.
