NORMAN, Okla. – Eli Spaulding added to his postseason honors on Saturday when the Loyola University Maryland golfer was named to the PING All-Northeast Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
 
Spaulding led the Greyhounds with a 72.2 adjusted scoring average during the season while picking up All-Patriot League First Team honors. He was also named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the sport, recognizing his excellence in the classroom and on the course.
 
The Maine resident recorded five top-10 finishes during his sophomore campaign at Loyola and was fifth at the Patriot League Championships in April.
 
He tied for seventh at Florida State's Seminole Intercollegiate in March, and he rounded out the fall season with 10th-place finishes at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic and the Georgetown Intercollegiate. Spaulding also had a ninth-place finish at Navy's The Goat.
