BALTIMORE – Samantha Ryan scored for Boston University in the 62nd minute Saturday afternoon, giving Boston University the advantage in an eventual 1-0 Patriot League win over host Loyola University Maryland at Ridley Athletic Complex.
Ryan scored off a Kat Slott assist at the 61:48 mark to put the Terriers on top.
The teams combined for just three shots after that point in what would end as a one-goal game.
Boston University had an 11-7 advantage in shots in the game;
Savannah Manset led Loyola with five attempts, two which were on goal.
Hannah Goetzer made six saves in goal for Loyola.
