Biography

2009: Played in 12 games in the midfield, starting the first and last games of the season... Scored his first goal of the season at Siena (3/3) and added another in the finale against Johns Hopkins (5/2)... Added an assist Notre Dame (2/14... Took a season-high three shots versus Bryant (3/10).

2008: Played in 13 games in the midfield... Scored a goal in win over Fairfield (4/19)... Assited on a goal against Siena (3/18)... Grabbed three groundballs in win over Rutgers (4/5).

2007: Played in nine games on the midfield unit.

Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and football at Massapequa... Led lacrosse team to Nassau County Championships in 2005 and 2006... Earned Jim Condon MVP Award for 2005 Class A Championship Game... Named All-America honorable mention in lacrosse ... Was a two-time All-County selection in both football and lacrosse.

Personal: Majoring in business at Loyola... Son of Christopher and May Ellen Hurst...has three siblings, Jessica, Matthew and Allyson... Matt is a midfielder for St. John[apos]s.
