Loyola University Maryland Athletics

Prior to Loyola: McElderry, a transfer sophomore from Samford, appeared in 37 games during her two years, including making 16 starts. She scored two goals and three assists during her freshman season, tallying 18 shots on the year, and was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team. In her sophomore season, she recorded eight shots on the season and had her lone assist in the season opener against Tennessee Tech. 

Prior to Samford, McElderry attended Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas, where she was a three-year starter. She had 50 goals and 24 assists, which are both Lake Travis program records. Was named the team MVP in the 2021 season and was named to the Vype Austin Second Team All-Austin Selection. She is the daughter of Ryan and Cara McElderry and has two siblings, Aidan and Cian. Her mother, Cara (Mooney), played college soccer at Loyola, was the Greyhounds' first-ever All-Mid-Atlantic Region honoree (1995 and 1996), and she was named to the Loyola Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020.
