2024 (Sophomore): Played in all 15 games on the Greyhounds' second midfield unit... Had three goals and two assists... Tallied an assist in the season-opening win over Georgetown... Scored versus Boston University and then against Lehigh... Had an assist against Bucknell and a goal at Holy Cross... Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2023 (Freshman): Played in all 17 games on the Greyhounds second midfield, finishing with three goals and two assists… Made his collegiate debut against Maryland… Had a goal for his first Loyola point versus Johns Hopkins and followed with another goal at Rutgers… Scored a goal and had an assist against Lafayette.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Medfield (Massachusetts) High School where he was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team and a three-year varsity golfer… Scored 212 points with 168 goals and 44 assists in three years of high school lacrosse (sophomore season was canceled due to the pandemic)… Had 92 goals and 17 assists as a senior in 2022… His goals scored mark is a school record at Medfield, while he is tied for second in single-season points… Posted 72 points as a junior in 2021 and 31 during his freshman season of 2019… Named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Earned Tri-Valley League Most Valuable Player honors in 2022 and was an All-League honoree in 2021 and 2022… Tabbed to the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald All-Scholastic Teams in 2021 and 2022… Was a USA/EMLCA All-American in 2022… Captain of the team as a senior and led the team to its second state title game in four years (also in 2019)… Won the Tri-Valley League title in 2019, 2021 and 2022… Finished his career with the third-most goals in school history and seventh-most points… Played club for 3d New England.
 
Personal: Son of Debbie and Bill Murphy… Youngest of four boys with older siblings Will, Griffin and Owen… Will was a lacrosse player and 2019 team captain at Holy Cross, while Owen is a member of the Class of 2024 at Maryland where he was a starter on attack for the 2022 team… Father played baseball at Northeastern.
