2017 (Junior): Team co-captain… Started all 17 games and saw all but 40 minutes of action in goal for the Greyhounds… Finished the year with a 1.89 goals-against average, 73 saves and a .695 saves percentage in more than 1,524 minutes… Posted an overtime shutout win against Seton Hall (8/24)… A week later, led the Greyhounds to a double-overtime shutout win at UMBC (8/31)… Made three saves against the Retrievers… Yielded just one goal over a three-game stretch from October 1-9… Made four saves and allowed only one goal at Army West Point (10/1)… Tied her season-high with eight saves in a double-overtime clean sheet against Holy Cross (10/7)… Two days later, made three saves in a shutout win over Delaware State (10/9)… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2016 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games and started nine, logging nearly 960 minutes in goal for the Greyhounds during her sophomore season… Was fourth in the Patriot League in goals-against average (1.22) while saving 71.1 percent of the shots on goal she faced… Allowed just one goal in the first two games of the year, a pair of wins over Mount St. Mary’s (8/19) and UMBC (8/21)… Had a clean sheet, the first of her collegiate career, against UMBC… Did not allow more than two goals in a game during her first 10 appearances of the season… After an injury sidelined her, was back as the starter at Lafayette and made four saves against one goal allowed in a 1-1 draw (9/17)… Held Navy to one goal while making four saves in a 2-1 double-overtime victory (9/24).
2015 (Freshman): Saw action in three games during her first season at Loyola… Made her collegiate debut with 15 scoreless minutes at Temple (4/28)… Played a scoreless second half, making two saves, of a 1-0 loss to Towson (9/13)… Made her Patriot League debut in the second half at Boston University (10/3) and gave up two goals.
Before Loyola: Invited to the U.S. National Team camp in 2013... Finished second in the 2012 ECNL National Championships with the San Diego Surf ECNL Academy... Two-time SoCal Conference ECNL Champions (2012 and '13), also winning the Surf Thanksgiving College Cup from 2011-14... Named to the All-Century League Second Team her junior year with El Modena High School.
Personal: Sumer Marie Rahe... Daughter of Christopher Rahe and Christina Day... Has two brothers... Was a four-year Scholar Athlete at El Modena High School... Plans to major in psychology and sociology.
