2017 (Junior): Played in 25 matches, staring 10, while seeing action in 88 sets… Had 12 digs in the season-opener at UNC-Wilmington (8/26)… posted 24 assists at Akron (9/1) and 26 the next day versus La Salle… Posted 30 digs over a two-match stretch with 16 against Presbyterian (9/8) and 14 versus Morgan State later that day… Logged a season-high 32 assists versus Morgan State… Had eight digs in each of the next two matches, against UMBC (9/9) and Coppin State (9/12)… Had four kills and six digs at George Mason (9/16).

2016 (Sophomore): Played in all 27 matches, starting nine… Led the Greyhounds with 378 assists and also had 170 digs… Tallied 13 assists and 10 digs for one of her six double-doubles of the season against Saint Francis Brooklyn (9/9)… Had a season-high 25 assists against Hampton (9/16)… Posted 17 assists and 12 digs a day later against Bryant (9/17)… Had 20 assists and 10 digs in a four-set win at Holy Cross (9/30)… Had a season-best 15 digs to go with 12 assists at Army West Point (10/1)… Spread out 21 assists and had 13 digs at Lafayette in a five-set win (10/22)… Tallied 24 assists and matched her season-high with 15 digs in a four-set victory at Bucknell (11/4).

2015 (Freshman): Played in all 31 matches and appeared in 104 sets for the Greyhounds as a freshman… Led Loyola with 734 assists, an average of 7.06 per set… Had 38 assists over four sets in her collegiate debut against UMBC (8/29)… Logged a double-double later that day at Robert Morris with 31 assists and 11 digs in three sets… Posted 15 digs to go with 35 assists at High Point (9/4)… Had 37 assists, 11 digs and six kills in a four-set win over South Carolina State (9/5)… Became the first Loyola player to earn Patriot League Player of the Week honors since the Greyhounds joined the conference… Earned the honor after recording the first triple-double by a Loyola player since at least the turn-of-the-century when she had 10 kills, 31 assists and 15 digs in four sets against Manhattan (9/11)… Hit .692 in the match with just one error in 13 attempts… Posted 20 assists and 13 digs at Lafayette (9/26)… Had a 23-assist, 15-dig outing against the Leopards at home (10/23).

Before Loyola: Played four years at Flower Mound (Texas) High School… Posted 467 assists, 226 digs, 57 kills and 22 service aces as a senior in 2014… Named the Setter of the Year and a member of the All-State Team as a senior while garnering team Most Valuable Player honors… Was a three-time All-District Player, earning first team nods in 2013 and 2014 and a second team recognition in 2012… Helped Flower Mound win the District and Bi-District titles as a senior and the Area championship in 2013… Played club for Texas Image.

Personal: Molly Caroline Werts… Daughter of Shawna and Jeremy Werts… Her mother was a setter on the volleyball team at the University of Central Oklahoma… Was a National Merit Finalist, a National AP Scholar and a National Hispanic Scholar.
