Before Loyola: Graduated from Smyrna (Delaware) High School where he earned eight varsity letters, three each in cross country and outdoor track and field and two in indoor track and field … had senior-year top times of 16:32 in cross country (5k), 10:30 in the 3,200m, 4:51 in the 1,600m, 2:14 in the 800m and :59 in the 400m … earned All-County First Team honors in both 2016 and 2017 … was an All-Conference First Team honoree in 2017 after garnering second-team recognition in 2016 … received the Iron Eagle Award, given to a member of the team who displays a strong work ethic, in both 2015 and 2016 … received the Kershaw Award in 2017 (displays strong sense of camaraderie) and the Spark Award in 2018 (team motivator) … cross country Most Valuable Performer in 2018 … helped Smyrna win the Henelopen Conference Championship in 2016 for outdoor track and field.
 
Personal: Son of Jeanne Eskridge … has two older siblings, Rachel and Brian … was the District Core Value Essay Contest winner … member of the School Personal Finance Team that was state runner-up … charter member of Smyrna’s Model UN Team … member of Smyrna’s JROTC and earned the Best Academic Student and Best Athlete Awards.
