2024 (Junior): Went to the starting line in all six meets for the Greyhounds… Posted his best 6k time of 20:00.0 at the Lafayette Invitational opener… Loyola’s No. 4 finisher at the Paul Short Invitational, recording a PR of 26:15.4 for the 8k… Placed in the top-third of the field… Recorded best-ever 10k mark (35:07.66) at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.

2023 (Sophomore): Took 30th at the Baltimore Metro Meet and then was 46th at the Navy Cross Country Invitational... Ran 27:53.9 to finish 151st at the Griak Invitational... Was 281st at the IC4A/ECAC Championships in 27:30.6) and finished 100th at the Patriot League Cross Country Championships... Ran 35:32.8 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional and placed 180th.

2022 (Freshman): Made his Loyola debut at the Navy Cross Country Invitational and finished 29th in the 5k race... Ran 27:09.8 at the Paul Short Run... Finished 95th at the Patriot League Championships.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Nashoba Regional HIgh School where he competed in cross country, track and field, basketball and lacrosse... Was a two-time Home Team All-Star by the Worcester Telegram & Gazette... Earned MidWach League All-Star honors four times in cross country, twice in indoor track and field and once in outdoor track and field... Earned All-Mid-Wach League Third Team honors in lacrosse as a senior when he had 15 caused turnovers and 40 ground balls... Helped his team win three cross country league titles and three Wachusett Invitational crowns... Indoor track and field team won the 2021-2022 state title... Lacrosse team was the MidWach Lacrosse League champions in 2022 and the CMASS Lacrosse Champions.

Personal: Son of Kristie and William Oberlies... Has four siblings, Maggie, Erin, Daniel and Keelie... Born in Hadiya, Ethopia.
