- Opened his season with a 23rd-place finish (21:03.3) at the Bison Invitational
- Came in 82nd at the Panorama Farms Invitational (29:00.6)
- Was Loyola’s No. 5 finisher in 27:58.0 (318th) at the Paul Short Run
- Took 104th (29:42.2) at the Patriot League Championships
High School:
- Attended nearby Loyola Blakefield where he earned six letters (two each in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field)
- Ran 16:59 as a junior in the 5k and 9:52 in the 3,200m that year
- Clocked a time of 4:35 in the mile as a senior
- Helped Loyola win the MIAA “A” Conference title as a sophomore, junior and senior
