2024 (Junior): Drew a starting assignment in three meets for the Greyhounds in 2024… The squad’s No. 2 finisher in the Open 8k race at the Paul Short Run…  Also competed in the Panorama Farms Invitational and earned a spot for the Patriot League Championships… Ran a season-best mark of 27:25.1 in the league championships.

2023 (Sophomore): Took 18th at the Baltimore Metro Meet and then was 51st at the Navy Cross Country Invitational... Ran 27:46.0 at the Griak Invitational for 148th and then clocked a time of 26:33.1 for 234th at the IC4A/ECAC Championships... Finished 84th at the Patriot League Championships in 27:49.7 and then was 177th in 35:02.1 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.

2022 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut at the Bison Opener and finished 21st... Took 84th at the Navy Cross Country Invitational.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Southampton (New York) High School where he competed in cross country, track and field and basketball... Was a state qualifier and earned All-County honors as a senior in 2022... Earned All-League and All-Division recognition in cross country four years from 2019-22... Was also the Division 4 Champion... Set the school record in the 800 meters in outdoor track and field, running 1:55.62... Won the county title in the 800 meters and the 4x400 meters... Was a state qualifier in both of those races, as well as the 1,600 meters.

Personal: Son of Michelle and Matthew Malone... Has two older brothers, Thomas and James, who both attend Loyola... Graduated Magna Cum Laude... Was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Foreign Language Honor Society.
