Before Loyola: Graduated from West Genesee High School where she earned five letters in varsity cross country and four in track and field… Was the program’s Rookie of the Year as an eighth grader and the Most Valuable Performer as a freshman… Earned All-League and All-Division honors as a freshman and sophomore… Three-year team captain… Two-time recipient of the West Genesee Hammer Award (Coach’s Impact Runner)… Section III Champion in the 600 meters, qualifying for the New York State Championship Meet where she medaled as a sophomore… Also won the Section III title in the 1,000 as a junior, qualifying for states in that race and the 4x800… Competed at the Nike Indoor National Championship in the 800 and 4x800 as a junior… All-Metro Division First Team in the 600 as a junior… NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete for five years… Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year at West Genesee and Most Valuable Athlete of the Year… Competed at the New Balance Indoor Nationals in the 4x800 and 4x200 as a sophomore and was part of a school-record setting team in the 4x800 as a junior.
 
Personal: Daughter of Amanda and Sean Griffin… Has two younger siblings, Riley and Cooper… Member of the National Honor Society and the High Honor Roll at West Genesee… Dad played lacrosse at Siena.
