2024 (Junior): Named the program’s “Most Dedicated” student-athlete at the annual Iggy Awards… Established a personal best in the 6k at 19:16 in the Lafayette Invitational opener… The Greyhounds’ No. 4 finisher in that meet and placed 28th of 91 runners…Also placed fourth (5:32.9) among Loyola competitors in the 5.2-mile Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State… Peaked at championship time for the Greyhounds, crossing the line first for the squad in the Patriot League Championships… Finished 55th overall in a collegiate-best 8k mark of 25:29.4, passing ten runners in the last two miles of the race… Concluded the season by posting a PR in the 10K (33.56.1) and was the Greyhounds’ third-best finisher at the NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Championships.

2023 (Sophomore): Finished 19th in the Baltimore Metro Meet and then was 43rd in 27:15.8 at the Navy Cross Country Invitational.

2022 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut and finished 39th at the Bison Opener... Took 19th in the 5k at the Navy Cross Country Invitational.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Shrewsbury (Massachusetts) High School where he was a varsity student-athlete in cross country, track and field and basketball... Was the district and league cross country champion as a senior in 2021... Was a four-time League All-Star from 2018-21... Helped Shrewsbury win the 2021 district and league championships... Team captain of his basketball team in 2021-22, earning team Most Valuable Player and League All-Star honors.

Personal: Son of Clem and Robert McNamara... Has two older sisters, Colleen and Maura... Volunteered for hte Mentor Volunteering Program to help freshmen acclimate to high school... Leader with Unified Basketball, coaching and leading younger athletes with autism... Mother was a varsity swimmer at the University of Maine where she set the school record in the 1,000 meters.
