Before Loyola: Graduated from Sun Prairie West High School where he ran cross country and track... Had high school personal-best times of 16:16 in a 5K cross country race, 9:40.95 in the 3,200 on the track, 4:16.83 in the 1,600, and 1:59.23 in the 800... Was a two-time state cross country qualifier and three-time qualifier for the state meet on the track... Earned All-Big 8 Conference cross country honors in cross country in 2023 and 2024 and was his team's Most Valuable Performer both years... Won the Big 8 title in the 1,600 as a senior in 2025 and also won a trio of WIAA Division I Regional titles (800 in 2023, 1,600 and 4x400 in 2025)... Won the 1,600 and 4x400 at the sectional level in 2025... Two-time Madison-area Runner of the Week Supernova... Holds the school record in the 800, 1,600, 3,200 and three relay teams... Member of the Sun Prairie West 4x400 team that was seventh in the state (3:22.02).

Personal: Son of Jessie and Matt Peters... Has a younger sister, Elise... Speaker at his high school graduation ceremony... State medalist in the FBLA Personal Finance competition... Served on the Dane County Public Protection and Judiciary Board in 2024-25.
