Loyola University Maryland Athletics

2023 (Junior): Finished 38th in the Baltimore Metro Meet and then was 30th in the Navy Cross Country Invitational... Ran 27:46.3 at the Paul Short Run and 27:02.9 at the IC4A/ECAC Championships... Finished 97th at the Patriot League Championships in 28:16.7.

2022 (Sophomore): Opened the year at the Bison Invitational and finished 41st (20:25.9)... Clocked 26:29.3 at the Paul Short Run... Finished 78th at the Patriot League Championships and then was 160th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.

2021 (Freshman): Ran at six meets during his first season at Loyola, making his collegiate debut at the Navy Cross Country Invitational... Followed that with a 23rd-place performance at the Towson Alumni Invitational... Was 82nd at the Patriot League Championships and then finished 156th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Glenelg High School where he was a four-year varsity runner for the cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field teams… Had top times of 4:44 in the 1,600 meters, 16:14 in the 3,200 meters, 2:07 in the 800 meters, 10:32 in the 3,200 meters and 17:22 in the 5k… Most Valuable Performer of the cross country team as a junior and senior, finishing 14^th at regionals as a junior… Named the cross country team’s Freshman of the Year, as well… Helped his 4x800 relay team finish second at the state meet… Ran for Bullseye Running Club… Was part of the winning 4x800 relay team at the AAU Indoor Nationals as a sophomore.
 
Personal: Son of Pamela and Tim Jock… Has a younger brother, Cayden… Volunteers with his church for Habitat for Humanity and as a youth mentor… Participated in National Honor Society and was a freshman mentor to students at Glenelg as a senior.
