2023 (Junior): Ran 17:47.4 to finish 24th at the Navy Cross Country Invitational... Finished in 27:42.1 for 255th at the Paul Short Run.

2022 (Sophomore): Took seventh at the Bison Opener (19:14.7) over a 6,000-meter course and then was 61st at the Navy Cross Country Invitational (26:28.6)... Ran 26:12.5 over 8,000 meters at the Paul Short Run and was 51st at the Patriot League Championships in 26:11.1... Came in 95th in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Cross Country Regional, covering the 10,000-meter course in 32:15.4.

2021 (Freshman): Made his Loyola debut at the Towson Alumni Invitational, running 29:54.0 to finish 26th... Clocked 27:29.8 at the Paul Short Run and then was 88th at the Panorama Farms XC23 Invitational in 28:10.7... Finished 99th at the Patriot League Championships in 28:43.5.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Hershey High School shere he was a 12-time letter winner in cross country, plus indoor and outdoor track and field… Had a 5k cross-country personal-best of 16:27 in 2020… Was a PIAA District 3 AAA qualifier in cross country and also in the 1,600 meters on the track… Helped his cross country team win the conference title and twice win the division crown… Member of the conference winning 4x800 relay.
 
Personal: Son of Gigi and Chad Alander… Has one younger brother, Joey… Earned the E. Jerry Brooks Academic Excellence Award for outstanding achievement in business.
