Before Loyola: Graduated from Garden City (New York) High School where he was a nine-time letterwinner between cross country, track and field and swimming... Earned All-County honors three times in cross country and qualified for the state championship as a senior in 2019... Captain of the team as a junior and senior... Named the cross country and winter track Most Outstanding Runner... Ran 16:25.53 on a 5,000-meter cross country and covered 4,000 meters in 13:29.9... Indoors on the track, he had a 2:36.08 1,000-meter time and high jumped 6-foot-1... Ran 4:35.1 in the 1,600 meters outdoors... Was the Nassau County champion in the 1,000 meters and high jump indoors... Took 11th in the 1,000 at the state level... Played Garden City travel soccer from third through 12th grade...
