2003 Cross Country Roster
Biography
Jeff Hasenauer is in his third season as an assistant coach to the cross country and track and field programs at Loyola College. A 2004 graduate of Loyola, Hasenauer has been involved with the program since graduation.
In his two years on staff with the Greyhounds, Hasenauer has helped coach one MAAC Individual Champion, five All-MAAC runners, two All-ECAC runners and two All Mid-Atlantic Regional runners in cross country. In addition, he has helped coach three MAAC Individual Champions, seven ECAC qualifiers and two NCAA Regional qualifiers in track and field.
A member of the Greyhound cross country team from 2000 to 2004, Hasenauer earned a spot at the Cross Country Only Nationals during his freshman season, helping Loyola finish third that year. Hasenauer, who served as a team captain as a junior and senior at Evergreen, was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
During his high school career, Hasenauer helped Loyola Blakefield High School achieve a No. 4 state ranking while capturing a league championship during his junior season. He won the bronze medal in the 1600-meter run at the league outdoor track championships as a senior. He was a two-time team captain in cross country and outdoor track and field at Loyola Blakefield.
Aside from his coaching duties at Loyola College, Hasenauer works at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems as a software engineer.
A native of Perry Hall, Maryland, Hasenauer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola College in 2004.
