2022 (Freshman): Did not compete in an intercollegiate race.
Before Loyola: Graduated from Edgewood (Maryland) High School where he competed in cross country and track and field... Ran 17:08 in the 5,000 meters on the track and 17:24 at the distance in cross country... Had personal-best times of 4:50 and 10:27 on the track in the 1,600 and 3,200... Earned All-Harford County First Team honors in cross country as a senior in 2021 and was All-Senior Northeast Second Team at the 2021 Eastbay Regional Qualifiers... Was All-Harford County honorable mention in track and field in 2021 as a junior... Was Edgewood's Male Athlete of the Year as a senior after helpign the cross country team reach the stat championship meet... Competed for the Harford County Track Club AAU team.
Personal: Son of Susan and Stephen Buddenbohn... Has one siste, Madison, who is a runner at St. Joseph's University... Earned his International Baccalaureate Diploma and was a member of the National and French Honor Societies... Member of the Rho Kappa Honor Society for social studeies and Mu Alpha Theta for math... Member of the student governmend at a founding member of the Envirothon... Member of the Black Student Alliance... Participated in the marching, concert and pep bands as a flutist... Organized 'Presents for Pets.'
