2022-2023 (Junior): Ran 16:49.5 at the Bison Opener to open the cross country season... Finished in 24:35.4 at the Paul Short Run... Was 92nd at the Patriot League Championships in 24:58.5... Took eighth in the 1,000 at the Rutgers Holiday Classic in 3:20.37... Finished 11th in the event in 3:09.42 at the Patriot Games... Ran 11:55.02 in the steeplechase at the Hopkins-Loyola Invitational and then finished 16th at the Patriot League Championships in the event in 11:57.51.

2021-2022 (Sophomore): Was 15th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships... Finished seventh in the event at the Covert Classic and had a season-best time of 11:51.31 to finish eighth in the steeple at the Loyola-Johns Hopkins Invitational... Was third in the 1,000 meters at the Navy Select during the indoor season, running 3:14.44... Finished second in the 5k race at the season-opening Navy Cross Country Invitational... Was 95th at the Patriot League Cross Country Championships.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Liberty High School in Eldersburg, Maryland, where she earned 10 varsity letters in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field… Also competed in soccer and basketball… During the 2019-2020 indoor track and field season, she ran 5:32 in the 1,600 meters at the state meet to place seventh, and she also ran a time of 9.75 in the 55-meter hurdles… Helped the Liberty cross country team win the 2019 state title, taking sixth individually with a time of 20:12… Had a three-mile cross country personal-best of 19:29… During the 2019 outdoor season, she helped her 4x400-meter relay team win its heat at the prestigious Penn Relays… Ran 17.2 in the 100-meter hurdles and 5:31.41 in the 1,600 meters… Was sixth in her region in the 55 hurdles indoors in 2019 and helped her 4x800-meter team win region and county titles en route to a third-place finish in the state… Finished 25^th individually at the 2018 state cross country meet after taking 37^th as a sophomore in 2017-2018… Earned a slew of honors in high school including All-County (2018-2019 and 2019-2020 indoor track and field, 2019 outdoor track and field and 2019 cross country)… Was an All-State honoree in cross country in 2019.
 
Personal: Daughter of Sarah McConnell and Kevin Spargo… Has two sisters, Marybeth and Catie… Played in the high school orchestra and won the Liberty Varsity Club scholarship… Participated in the Advocates for Women’s Equality and Ocean Science Clubs… President of the National Honor Society in 2019-2020… Organized a 5K race with her friends called Stride Against Suicide, raising over $6,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with over 300 people running in it… Member of Liberty’s honor roll and the National Music Honor Society.
