Biography
As a Sophomore in 2009: Placed fourth on the team in each meet this season, starting with a 43rd place overall finish at the Salty Seadog Invitational on September 12... Ran a seasonal-best 22:57 at the Paul Short Run on October 2.
BEFORE LOYOLA: Received three varsity letters in cross country and seven in track & field for head coaches Howard Schuman, John Downey and Jim McCarthy... Helped the Angels win the cross country state group championships as a junior, the first time the school won a state title in any sport.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Robert and Janine Gibney... Has an older brother, Tommy... enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, baking and watching television and movies... Favorite runner is Kara Goucher... Former figure skater... English major and secondary education minor.
