KaVaughn Scott returned to his alma mater for the 2023-24 season as a player development coach with the Greyhounds men's basketball program.

A 2020 graduate of the school with a degree in business administration, Scott has played professionally in Finland and Australia since his time with the Greyhounds.

Over four years with the program, Scott played in 110 games and started 62, averaging 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 55.5 percent from the field. He had his best season on the court as a senior, averaging 8.5 points and 5.2 rebounds while making 27 starts in 30 outings.

The native of Orange, California, was one of five playears conference-wide named to the Academic All-Patriot League following the 2019-20 season. He was also a member of Loyola's Green & Grey Society, an advisory group that meets regularly with the school president and administration, and he served as co-president of Loyola's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a senior.
