Loyola University Maryland Athletics

2024-2025 (Freshman): Played in eight games in his first collegiate season... Made his Loyola debut against Lancaster Bible and scored two points and had a rebound... Grabbed another board and had a free throw at VCU... Went 3 of 4 at the free-throw line and scored three points to go with two rebounds against American.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Central York (Pa.) High School where he was a four-year letterwinner in basketball… Averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4.5 assists throughout his career… Led Central York to the PIAA 6A State Championship in 2024 and was named the 2024 Mr. PA Basketball… School’s all-time leading scorer… Earned All-State First Team honors as a senior after picking up second team recognition as a junior… Was the two-time York County Player of the Year and a four-time All-County honoree… Played for the Philly Pride UAA… Also played two years of varsity volleyball at Central York, helping the team win the 2024 York County and District Championship.
 
Personal: Son of Khai and Jay Guidinger… Has two older siblings, Jinda and Gabe… Four-time Distinguished Honor Roll at Central York… Student-Athlete Award and Sportsmanship Award… Both parents played basketball at the University of Minnesota-Duluth… His father, Jay, was a NCAA Division II All-American and later played 64 games in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1992-94.
